When I left school at 17,  I worked in a top Irish Wolfhound, Greyhound and Whippet show kennel. I had always wanted to work with dogs and this fulfilled my ambition.

It was shortly after this that I attended a Dog Grooming Course and qualified as a dog groomer. I then started my own business as an all breed dog groomer but due to a hand injury I gave this up in 2008, whereby I did a small amount of dog sitting. However, my heart has always been with dog grooming and now that my hand has sufficiently recovered, I have started exclusively grooming Schnauzers so that my hand is not overtaxed. It gives me great pleasure transforming your dog into a beautifully groomed and easily recognised Schnauzer.

I also own a Standard Schnauzer, Kruger whom I showed a little when he was younger. The photo above is of Kruger achieving a third at Crufts - a very proud moment for me. He has also passed his Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze award and is my very special boy and devoted friend and companion. I now also own a beautiful Whippet, Kristal and she and Kruger make the most attractive couple. They are a great source of joy for me and I try to attend lots of doggy activities with them, although obviously my grooming skills are limited on my Whippet !
